If there is anybody our there who would like to give me a hand to control the jungle in our spinney, either with a decent pair of shears or a power strimmer, it would be greatly appreciated. It is a case of shearing around the young trees and along the sides of the path, which is mowed monthly by Jeremy Hunt provided that he can get his machine through it. One needs old clothes with good protection for legs and arms against brambles and nettles. However it's quite rewarding if you are a naturalist.
